When Randy Race purchased the truck it was in running condition, with a bit of surface rust but not much heavy damage. The truck has the original 230 flathead-six with a Fluid Drive transmission. The engine purrs after a carb rebuild. The transmission is a standard which "slips" at a stop light, auto-style, if the clutch isn't pushed in.
